Transaction adds 200 bank and finance company relationships across six states as Lumos expands its credit insurance platform
, /PRNewswire/ — Lumos Insurance™ today announced that its life and health insurer, Plateau Insurance Company, has assumed the credit life and credit disability insurance business of Mountain Life Insurance Company and Kentucky Home Life Insurance Company.
Lumos has begun working directly with the lenders and finance companies whose programs are moving to its platform. Policyholders will see no change in their coverage.

Lumos has written credit insurance for banks and lending institutions for 45 years. The company is privately held and U.S. family-owned, operating its carriers from Crossville, Tennessee.
